Hello guys, If you’ve recently purchased AirPods and are looking for accessories to make them more convenient for your lifestyle, then this is the post for you.
Because we’re going to be taking a look at the five most useful AirPod accessories on the market today. Now all the products I’m going to show you were provided by Peepcase,
so I’ll include a link to their website in the comments, if you want to check out the items for yourself.
So with out much talking, lets get's started : -
Three in One Wireless Fast Charging Station
The first accessory I’d recommend for anyone who owns AirPods, an Apple Watch and wireless charging iPhone, is this three in one wireless fast charging station. It allows you to power all of your devices at the same time while cleaning up your desktop in the process, since you’ll no longer need all those individual cables.
So let’s take a closer look at how this charging station works. Inside the box you’ll find three things: the product itself, its power cable, and a manual. That means you’ll have to provide your own wall adapter, and this is something you’ll want to pay attention to.
Because if you use an iPhone adapter like this, it’ll only deliver 5 watts of power to the station, and that means you won’t be able to take advantage of fast charging. So instead, I recommend using a larger wall adapter, like the one that comes with the iPad.
Once you have your charging station connected to power, you should see the LED indicator light up, that means its ready to power your devices. This pad is compatible with virtually any wireless charging smartphone, and I really like how much surface area it provides.
That way I can charge my iPhone X in portrait or landscape. A feature that’s really useful when I want to watch videos and charge at the same time. Now this cradle is where your AirPods will dock to charge, and that means you don’t need the wireless charging case to use this base station.
And if you look right below the dock, you’ll see that a magnetic Apple Watch charger is built right in. And because your watch is held upright instead of lying flat, nightstand mode will be activated which I really enjoy.
So you can easily have all three of your devices charging simultaneously all while taking up very little space on your desk.
Because I’m not sure if you can tell on video, but this base station is very compact which saves me valuable real estate on my desk or nightstand. But one of the best things about this is its price.
Because while the cost of some base stations have been approaching $100, you can get this one for just $30, which is definitely a good deal for what you get.
The second accessory I’d recommend is a case. And this is where Peepcase is a really great source since they offer one of the largest selections of high quality cases for your AirPods. And I have nine different designs right here. Let’s start off with the most basic which would be the UltraThin Series.
These cases are best if you want some protection for your AirPods while keeping added size and weight at a minimum. They’re some of the thinnest cases I’ve ever seen while also providing total protection for your AirPods charging case, including the led.
I should also mention that all of these cases give you full access to the lighting port so you can charge without having to remove the case every time. Also, the rest of the cases I’ll cover all include a travel clip, I just won’t have it attached for the purpose of this video.
Airpods Shock-Proof Series
Next up is the Shock-Proof Series. As you can see the silicon used on this case is much thicker features a ribbed design for extra drop protection.
The camouflage collection is also made of a thick, rigid silicon that offers a unique design along with heavy duty AirPod protection, and the genuine leather series is probably my favorite.
It not only has an attractive and sophisticated design, but I love the grippy leather exterior while cradling the AirPods inside of a hard plastic that feels really sturdy.
And the integrated hook could really be useful for people who hike, run, or rock climb and don’t want anything bulging in their pockets.
Airpods Designer Series
Next is the Designer Series, and this is where we start getting into some really cool and unique cases. This leopard print is actually made of a felt material that has a really stylish and premium feel. The second case I have in this series is made from a textured hard plastic with a luxury print that I think would look great alongside some high end handbags.
Airpods Just for fun
And the last two cases I have are from a series called Just For Fun, and I think you can see why. This first one is made from a thick but soft silicon that features a fried egg on the front.
While the second is shaped like an owl which I think looks really cool and definitely would be fun to show off to friends. Now there are a lot more designs to choose from so take a look at the peepcase website to see them all for yourself.
Airpod ear hooks
The third accessory is ear hooks. If you’ve found that AirPods just don’t fit securely in your ears, then I highly recommend using ear hooks.
They use the outer part of your ear canal to achieve a snug fit in addition to giving the AirPods a better grip thanks to the silicon material.
AirPod holder for the Apple Watch
The fourth accessory is an AirPod holder for the Apple Watch. Something I highly recommend for runners, or anytime you want to bring your AirPods along without their charging case.
I’ve actually been using this a lot when walking to the grocery store. It’s only about a 30 minute trip so I know I won’t need my charging case, but when I talk to the cashier I need to place to put the earbuds, and sliding them right onto my watch is much more convenient than putting them in my pockets with my keys, wallet, and phone.
Especially since it takes me forever to dig them out again. And considering it’s only four bucks, the extra convenience is definitely worth it.
Airpods Anti-Loss Strap
Now the last accessory is an anti-loss strap. While it may seem a bit counter-intuitive to put a cable on wireless headphones, this accessory definitely serves a purpose for people who are biking or rock climbing and want some extra protection for their expensive earbuds.
Because you can imagine how difficult it’d be to locate a single AirPod that fell from a moving bicycle. And considering the strap is really unobtrusive and really affordable, I think it’d be a wise purchase to prevent you from having to buy a $50 replacement earbud.
